So you want to know from where we came. Well, it all started back in 1989. Another gentleman and I, just after graduating from high school, started a computer repair service called BOCCo. After a few months, he and I realized that we had different ideas of how to operate the business, so I bought his share of the business and changed the name to Best Deal Computers.
Since that time, the business has served the Lawrence area and has also serviced major contracts in various parts of the country from one coast to the other.
BDC has worked with school districts, water districts, utility companies, hospitals, library districts, corporate headquarters, and all levels of government primarily in the areas of network administration, engineering, and security.
In February 2004, BDC quit the long-distance contract side of the business despite still being successful and refocused our efforts on sales, repair, and networking services to the Douglas County area.
In March 2015, BDC expanded its service area to a 100-mile radius around Lawrence, Kansas. This area includes Junction City, Emporia, Kansas City metropolitan area, St. Joseph, Falls City, and more.
